What i want to do is i want to look at this 2021 toyota, camry, yeah, believe it or not. I want to look at it. I also want to talk about it, but what i want to find out is: is this really still the greatest sedan, because that’s? Exterior

Nice is, you can have the sporty appearance, but you still have the choices of engines underneath the hood and we’ll, get to that in a little bit, but let’s start at the front of the business.

You do have this large fake vent area, which i am going to zonk on an xse trim. I wish they would have done something make a make it a functional side. Air curtain, i’m, not talking about cooling brakes or anything like that, but at least make it a functional side, air current.

Now what i do like about it is how far it extends off the front fascia but, like i said at the end of the day, this is just for looks it’s all show and no go as we. We say bottom portion, you’re gonna, have this nice flat silver, lower lip extension that lower lip spoiler and then, as we come across the rest of the front of the toyota, camry subtle changes.

Of course, you’re gonna still get that same iconic badge in the center, and i like the way it’s kind of framed with this portion of the front fascia. Everything is functional up top in the middle and functionality.

I do like the way they carry the silver all the way across on the 2021 Toyota Camry XSE trim, and then you’re going gonna. Have that metallic black finish, which really gives it just a nice overall balance to it? Now, when we get up onto the hood simple – and i like that body lines just like before come up, go right towards the windshield and before they make contact with the windshield, they kind of just curve off and disappear into the sunset.

The larger rise flows nicely right into the a-pillar. Now, of course, with this generation they continue to still have that aggressive. Look because let’s be honest. Before this generation hit the streets, things were looking a little bland, even though camrys were selling very well, they sort of look like refrigerators or a washing machine or a dishwasher.

This one, though, definitely has a lot of style. When we come around the bend, the style continues. You can see we have a nice multi-spoke gloss black wheel, i’m liking, the style of the wheel, especially with our particular color, and if you’re, saying to yourself well joe, what’s, the size of this 19-inch Wheel, i think that’s, just big enough.

You have a low 40 series sidewall on it, so it’s, surprising that they went so low on a non-trd camry, but it’s, a 19 inch wheel and you’re, looking at 2 35 on the width. Of course it’s still front wheel drive, but you can get believe it or not. Camry’s now all-wheel drive i’m trying to track one down. We’re, going to bring that to you here on radius rides don’t. You worry your little heart, but, like the nice subtle fender lines, i think this is another area.

A lot of people miss how this body line picks up perfectly in the fender they didn’t, put a fake vent or anything, and then it just goes all the way down almost the whole side of the vehicle color mesh on the mirror.

Caps. A little bit of chrome trim that’s. Okay, you got your led turn signals some bright, shiny metal, work top and bottom with some gloss in the center. I’m digging the panoramic sunroof. We have a panoramic sunroof and guess what, unlike some sedans, where you pay twice as much as the cost of this one, they blacked out the whole roof, looks clean.

Even the shark fin antenna blacked it all out, gives it a nice clean. Look. We have color matched on the door handles and then you’ll notice on the 2021 Toyota Camry XSE trim that lower side, sill extension, how it drops down and then tapers in as it comes to the rear and then, as we work our way towards the back End of the business, the tail in the business you are going to get tasteful trunk mounted spoiler, nothing too crazy, but it gives it a nice little extra element of design.

I’m, still digging what they’ve done with the tail lights, especially how far it wraps in and around the one thing i’m. Not digging is the fake vent on the side, so we are going to have to zonk that, but you can see they went for a little bit extra width, make it a little functional.

You know make it make some airflow through it just for aerodynamic purposes, let alone anything else, and then, when we get to the bottom portion, what i do like about the 2021 Toyota Camry XSE trim you’re, going to get the quad tip exhaust.

Interior

I do like the way they made a decent attempt to be a little stylish by taking the silver from the door handle to open up the door and then making it into some trim. You do have some soft armrests with some white contrast stitching. The bad news is very small door, pocket a bottle of water and maybe two nature valley, granola bars, but you know what you better have some napkins, because those things tend to make a mess all over the place.

Now, when you come to, the dash still has the same soft material. I am liking this design that they did not to look like faux carbon fiber, but definitely better than just gloss black everywhere. Soft touch with the white contrast stitching just like on the door panels.

This is all new for 2021 Toyota Camry XSE, 9 inch infotainment system. I do like the way they attempted to integrate it a little bit better on this. 21 camry just sticks up a little bit, but you know what you have apple carplay.

You have android auto. You have your navigation. Is it a touch screen? Of course it’s. A touch screen. Look at that we’re zooming in. I’ll, go stand outside. You maybe see me standing right where that arrow is, i’ll, go back, you can hit the buttons on the side, go into your different features, real easy to do, and then you just go back to map what about backup camera.

Of course, we have one: it’s required by law. It’s a little grainy, but the good news is, it is filling up that whole nine inches and that seems to be a good size, not too big, not too small. Just about right, you do have the trajectory, but it is grainy and you can switch angles which is nice.

I do like that setup. Look at that. You can even change the angle of the trajectory colors and everything i’ll, go ahead and put it back in the park, and we’re back to our navigation. They integrate the ac vents very clean. You do have dual climate control, which is a nice touch. I like the way they went flat black on the buttons. Instead of that shiny silver start stop buttons over. Here you got gunmetal gray. I’ve, never really been in love.

With this whole setup, but i am loving it a little bit more because of the nine inch system it’s. Gon na be hard for me to for lori to show, but i’ll move the shifter i’ll kind of help. Her out, you do have a usb, a 12 volt wireless charging pad and then watch this smart twinkie holder.

Underneath you can fit up to six twinkies in there without squirting cream anywhere on your phone and then bam it’s like a hidden compartment. Don’t even tell anybody about that, and you can keep some secret stuff in there. But remember secrets: don’t make friends that’s. The way that i love it, but it feels really really good it’s, a little more driver focused, but you know what, since we’re talking about the driver, get your butt over here to the business end. I do like the way they got the lower lumbar, especially on those longer trips, but the seats feel great, like i said plenty of head room, same exact toyota steering wheel. I wish they would do something a little different to the horn button and maybe hollow out that guy, but the thickness is great easy to understand.
